Description: Inspired by Tolkien and Susanna Clarke, we’re putting on a darker version of Midsummer. The woods of Athens are a Perilous Realm, where people go in and come back changed… or not at all.
This production utilizes black lights and fluorescent body paint to achieve a variety of effects. Modern accents are used, but a familiarity with Shakespearean language is helpful. This production will be movement-heavy and body-forward (though still PG-rated). If you have any concerns, email info@rudemechanicals.com.
