This 80s edition of The Rude Mechanicals comedy of manners features The School for Scandal morning TV show to catch up on the day’s gossip and never let the truth get in the way of a good story. You never know who today’s featured subject will be, so tune in live at the Greenbelt Arts Center to find out.
Auditions
Monday, June 3 & Tuesday, June 4, 8pm – 9pm
at the Greenbelt Arts Center (123 Centerway, Greenbelt, MD 20770)
Auditions do not require an appointment, and will consist of provided sides.
While auditions may run as late as 10:30pm, arrival before 9pm is requested.
Callbacks, if required, are on Thursday, June 5th. Actors may be cast without being called back.
The Rude Mechanicals practice race-conscious casting. Actors of all genders, races, ages, religions, ethnicities, and abilities welcome are encouraged to audition for all roles. A diverse cast is desired.
Rehearsals will be in Greenbelt, MD, 3 weeknights per week on Mon – Thurs.
The Rude Mechanicals are an all-volunteer organization.
